An early tract of Francis Schaeffer written from a message originally preached in St. Louis on November 12, 1944. The message is intended to clarify the words in the Apostles Creed where it states, "I believe in the holy Catholic Church," as describing the church universal and not the Roman Catholic Church.
Herein, according to the PCA Historical archives Schaeffer also provides a "brief apologetic for a biblical faith, over against the errors of Roman Catholicism."
