"Christianity does not have a deterministic system. We must always keep away from any sense of a deterministic system regardless of the phrases used to state such a system. The reason Christianity is nondeterministic is that in Christianity we have a nondetermined God. This cannot be stressed too strongly. God did not create because He had to. He is 'there' and He is 'free,' and His freedom includes the important point that He did not have to create."
