THE SCHAEFFER HOUSE:
Covenant Presbyterian Church in St. Louis, the former church of Dr. Francis Schaeffer prior to the founding of L'Abri in 1955, has created a new endeavor to honor something of his L'Abri mission. The Schaeffer House is a Christian Study Center and ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church which points people to Jesus Christ by providing a welcoming space for cultural engagement, honest exploration, and life-giving conversation. We seek to develop an environment of intellectual and spiritual hospitality, welcoming people with their doubts and honest questions, and taking their questions seriously and treating them with dignity.
